PennDOT is urging drivers to get ready for snow. The department says motorists should make sure they have an emergency kit with water, a blanket, a flashlight, a snow shovel, an ice scraper and a phone charger. It is also important to have winter tires, new wiper blades and full fluid levels. PennDOT is also reminding drivers to keep a safe distance from snow plows while they are clearing the roads.
